About PURRfect Pet Companion

Hi! I’m Laura, the owner of PURRfect Pet Companion. I have always had a love for animals and I recognize that our pets play a very important role in our lives and families. I would only let an experienced, trained professional care for my pets, so I understand that you would expect the same for yours. I started this Hatfield pet sitting business because of my love for pets and look forward to spending my day with yours.

I have a B.S. in Psychology from Lafayette College. I have taken several animal behavior courses and have volunteered with the SPCA for many years. I currently reside in Hatfield, PA with my husband, my son, my cat (Mimi) and my dog (Niko). My pets are my children. I have owned and loved cats, dogs, birds, fish, hermit crabs, and even a hedgehog.

Meet Our PURRfect Team Members!

Holly P.

Hi! I’m Holly. I live in Hatfield with my wonderful husband of 27 years and our 3 rescued dogs Jenny, Pennie and Coco. I have also rescued 7 cats: Nikita, Manny, Diego, Ellie, Sid, Oreo and my sweet little Annie. They are all a wonderful and important part of my life!

I have loved and cared for dogs and cats my entire life. I’ve also cared for with birds, guinea pigs, hamsters, fish and even hermit crabs! I absolutely love all animals and couldn’t imagine my life without them!  I can’t wait to meet your pets!

Anna J.
Hi! I’m Anna! I live in Lansdale and graduated from North Penn High School. I received my Associates degree in Psychology, and am currently working toward becoming an RN. I have a Yorkipoo named Teddy, and a Maltipom named Bear! In the past I have owned dogs, cats, rabbits, mice, hamsters, turtles, birds, and fish. I have even done some basic grooming of horses!

In the past I worked at a pet supplies store and was the ‘Operation Ava’ representative. I assisted with pet adoptions and helped find them forever homes. Now I am lucky enough to work even more with animals. Getting to play and take care of pets is something I would do for fun. I cannot think of a better job!

Mary Ann S.

Hi, I’m Mary Ann! I have a B.F.A. and an M.F.A. in Theatre Design. Based in Hatfield, I am constantly on the go. When I am not dog-walking, I am designing or building costumes for area theatres, am working as an evening custodian or teaching classes; and, when I am not doing all of that, I am camping and LARPing with my husband. We are the humans to a feline fur-baby (Margo) who we love and spoil as much as possible.

I grew up surrounded by pets and nature. There was always a dog and/or a cat in the house. Occasionally, there would also be a rabbit, a hamster, a guinea pig, a mouse, or a bird. My parents tended to think of me as a regular Dr. Doolittle sometimes. Seeing and making new fur-friends always brings me joy.

Anna K.

Hi, I’m Anna. I am originally from the Pacific Northwest, and grew up in Seattle. I graduated from Shoreline High School and  attended Barclay College for a few years. I live in Hatfield with my husband and our 3 rescued cats: Jack, Abby, & Squeaky. I have had pets all my life, and love every one of their fun and unique personalities.

I have worked in hospitals, high schools and restaurants, all having exceptional standards, with a great emphasis on service. I have enjoyed my previous jobs, but have always wanted to work with animals. When we moved here I saw an opening with PURRfect Pet Companion and I couldn’t have been happier.

Jenny B.

Hi, I’m Jenny. I graduated from Lipscomb University with a M.S. in Nutrition and Exercise Science in Nashville and recently moved back to my home in Hatfield. When I’m not working, I seek adventure through international travel and competitive running.

I have 2 precious cats, Alice and Praline, who bless my life every single day. I have grown up around cats my entire life and embrace the nickname “cat specialist” given to me for my forte with felines. I also have plenty of experience with dogs, rabbits, and small rodents. Caring for pets is an absolute enjoyment and I especially love watching shy personalities come out their shells. I am thrilled to meet and love your pets!

Olivia J.

Hi, I’m Olivia! I live in Hatfield with my dog Lily and cat Carm. I grew up in Hatfield and attended school in the area. I received my bachelors degree from West Chester University in Professional Studies. I have had the privilege of owning and loving many kinds of animals thoughout my life! I have made pet-buddies with everything from ducks and turtles to cats and dogs!

While I have a full-time job in the Administration field during the day, I love spending my evenings and weekends caring for pets! There’s nothing better than getting to cuddle and love cats and dogs! I can’t wait to meet and care for your furry children!

Morgan R.

Hi, my name is Morgan! I am from York, Pennsylvania and live in Hatfield. I have a BA in Anthropology from Gettysburg College and a masters in Celtic/Viking Archaeology from the University of Glasgow. I work as an archaeologist/graphic illustrator! When not out digging holes or making maps, I like to read anything and everything, go hiking, practice photography, knit, and attempt to grow my garden. I love all things dogs, superheroes, books, and Harry Potter.

I have a wonderfully energetic Pembroke Welsh corgi, Dodger, who is the love of my life. We are hardly seen without one another and love hanging out in our yard together and learning all sorts of new tricks. I love taking care of and playing with all sorts of furry creatures big and small, and look forward to meeting yours!

Nancy S.

Hi I’m Nancy. I live in Lansdale with my husband, 3 step kids, and 2 cats, Grace and Haley. I grew up in NJ and moved to PA in 2004. While growing up, we always had at least one dog in our house at all times along with gerbils, hamsters, a guinea pig, rabbit and a ferret. I absolutely LOVE animals and wanted to be a Veterinarian when I was a kid.

I currently own a Virtual Assistant business and work from home. This gives me the luxury to be able to help people with their fur-babies during the day. And there’s nothing more that I like to do than spend time with animals. They’re good for the soul. I love the opportunity to do something that I thoroughly enjoy and what a great “job” it is to meet new animals and get to care and play with them.
